	I must resort to you again with a request for money, no matter how unpleasant it is for me. This made a very sad impression on me, thoroughly ruining the rosy spirits in which I'd found myself for several days, as a result of completely finishing the opera. I will be glad to leave here. Я должен прибегнуть к тебе опять с денежной просьбой, как это мне ни неприятно. Но на этот раз я займу у тебя на самый короткий срок, т. е. до 1-го апреля, и не думай, что по случаю 1-гo апреля я тебя обману. Дело в том, что я поступил очень глупо с своими финансами и, вследствие этого, могу доехать только до ''Берлина''. Чтобы добраться до Петербурга и заплатить за моё пребывание в Берлине, мне нужно около 500 марок, ну, словом, 250 рублей. Попрошу тебя прислать их по адресу ''Котека'' и, ''если можно'', по телеграфу на какого-нибудь банкира, ибо мне не хотелось бы в Берлине долго оставаться. Я выезжаю отсюда в среду 28 февр[аля]/12 марта и 29/13 буду в Берлине, где хотел бы остаться не более двух дней. Я сейчас слышал исполнение «''Бури''» в концерте Châtelet.
