Anyway, I'll go the theatre, spend the night, and tomorrow morning I'll go to [[Warsaw]], where I'll also be staying. I'm thinking about the long journey with trepidation. Today is a grey and misty day, but it's warm, and the trees are green here. Of course, I couldn't go without missing you and your retinue, and shedding a few tears. I kiss and hug you tightly. 	Моденька! Как только тронулся поезд из Флоренции, я закрыл глаза и дремал до Болоньи. От Болоньи да Местре тоже спал. Здесь пересел ОБ купе (где уже сидел венгерец с Женой) и опять спал до ''Понтеббы''. Тут я выпил кофе, и, когда мы поехали, я вскоре опять заснул и спал тяжёлым, крепким сном до самого обеда в ''S[an]-Michael'', т. е. часов до двух. Вследствие всего этого спанья у меня сильно разболелась голова и всё путешествие вообще оставило во мне самое отвратительное воспоминание. Я не преувеличиваю, говоря, что ''не могу'' переносить больших переездов, особенно когда с места двинуться нельзя в течение суток. Это, я думаю, не что иное, как нервы. На Земмеринге боль головы дошла до мучительных размеров, меня тошнило, но не рвало. Но, как только Вена стала близка, как только я почувствовал, что скоро можно будет свободно подвигаться и подышать, — мне стало лучше, а в Вене, я вышел из вагона совершенно здоровым. В ''Goldenes Lamm'' великолепно поужинал и потом с неизъяснимою приятностью гулял часа два по городу, причём бегал, как будто за мной погоня. Спал хорошо, но опять немножко слишком. Модя! Представь себе, что в ''Понтеббе'' для пассажиров недостало мест 1-го класса, зато второй был совершенно свободен. Это меня утешает; я думаю, что Вам не очень плохо будет ехать. Но всё-таки, даже если Вы и во 2-ом классе поедете, не выезжай из Флоренции, если у тебя не будет ровна 1500 фр[анков] в кармане. Займи у Мэри (я ей напишу, чтобы она дала тебе сколько нужно), если не хватит. Дело в том, что у Коли мажет случиться ''мигрень'', как вчера у меня. Ведь тогда нужно остановиться, и вдруг не хватит доехать. Я признаюсь тебе, что я скрыл от тебя, что в Неаполе, ещё недели 2 тому назад, купил на всякий случай 100 рубл[ей] бумажку на запас.
