Ты меня приводишь в ярость. Не стыдно ли было тебе бессмысленно мотать деньги? Подлец. Заклинаю тебя энергически приняться за службу; под термином «энергически» Я подразумеваю следующее: делай, что тебе велят, аккуратно, перед лицом начальства притворяйся почтительным, если нужно ухаживай за начальническими жёнами, — одним словом, не пренебрегай никакими средствами, чтобы обратить на себя внимание. Адамов написал или напишет Крейтерну, а ты у него в случае сомнений и недоразумений бывай. Не лучше ли будет перейти в ''Тамбов''? Там бы ты ел у Карцовых, и это было бы экономно. К 1-му октября пришлю тебе тёплое платье и по возможности до получения штатного места буду тебе посылать лёгкие вспомоществования. Пиши и мне в Москву. Нежно тебя лобызаю.
