[[Tanya]] was asleep when I arrived; I sat for an hour with [[Lizaveta Mikhaylovna]], but seeing that she was still sleeping, I left. Just imagine that yesterday after dinner the three of them went to the hippodrome and sat contentedly through the whole performance. Could we have imagined something like this a month ago?
