Корректуру тебе уже, вероятно, передал Губерт. Гедеонову я написал письмо и упомянул, что ты во всем, что касается моего личного участия в деле постановки оперы, заменяешь меня. Очень буду рад если письмо к Оболенскому повернёт дело в хорошую сторону.

Жду с нетерпением корректуры скерцо. А первое ''Allegro''?

Насчёт фортепьянных пиэс прошу тебя немножко подождать. Потрудись, душа моя, при свидании с Стасовым сообщить ему о том, что я написал «''Бурю''» по его программе, но не пошлю ему, покамест не услышу её исполнения в Москве. Не знаю, удалась или не удалась она. Кстати, сообщи мне его адрес, я не знаю, живёт ли он на прежней квартире. Я собираюсь написать ему.

As for the piano pieces, please be a little patient. Take pains, my dear chap, when meeting with [[Stasov]] to tell him that I have written "''[[The Tempest]]''" according to his programme, but I won't send it to him until I hear it performed in [[Moscow]]. I don't know if it will be a success or not. By the way, tell me his address; I don't know if he's living in the same apartment. I'm intending to write to him.
