	I find myself held up for several hours in [[Berlin]]. I arrived this morning and tonight I'm moving on, directly to [[Florence]]. I don't know how long this will take, but until then I find being abroad ~~terribly objectionable~~. How I would rather be at home, in the country, or with you at [[Tiflis]]. I hope that once I start to work my bad mood will pass. We'll see! Yesterday and today I vividly imagined that you had returned home and settled around your old haunts. [[Nazar]], it seems, is very pleased about the trip, and I'm glad to have someone around me, or I should probably have been far more homesick. Write to [[Florence]], ''Poste restante''. Нахожусь проездом на несколько часов в Берлине. Сегодня утром приехал и сегодня вечером еду дальше, прямо в Флоренцию. Не знаю, долго ли это будет продолжаться, но покамест заграница мне ужасно противна. Так бы хотелось быть в деревне, дома или у вас в Тифлисе. Надеюсь, что когда начну работать, то дурное расположение духа пройдёт. Увидим! Живо воображал себе вас вчера и сегодня возвратившимися домой и водворившимися на старом пепелище. Назар, по-видимому, очень доволен путешествием, а я рад, что около меня есть свой человек, а то, вероятно, скучал бы гораздо сильнее. Пишите в Флоренцию ''Poste restante''. Умоляю Паню и Кокодеса написать мне. Целую всех вас.
