Друг мой! Я получил от А[нтонины] И[вановны] согласие на развод. Радости моей нет пределов.

До окончания дела необходимо нужно, чтобы деньги лежали у человека, к которому эта госпожа питает доверие. Я ей предложил тебя, и она согласилась. Поэтому в скором времени я вышлю на твоё имя 10 тысяч р[ублей],. Если моя супруга придёт к тебе, то не откажи ей в разъяснении дела и в советах. Если б ты знал, до чего она феноменально глупа! Условия развода следующие:

1) 10 тысяч в день подписания развода.

2) расходы на мой счёт.

3) я беру вину на себя.

4) Она требует, чтобы кроме 10 тысяч я дал ей 2500 р[ублей], которые она заняла под залог своего леса и которым срок в августе. Я объяснил ей, что долг этот нужно будет уплатить из 10 тысяч, а на 2500 р[ублей] я ей дам вексель и буду выплачивать понемногу.

Но я вижу теперь одно. Для начатия дела мне необходимо будет самому при ехать в Москву, и в начале июня я это приведу в исполнение. Нужно будет достать адвоката по бракоразводным делам, нужно будет вообще все это разъяснить и дать ход делу.

4) She has demanded, besides the 10 thousand I am giving her, 2500 rubles which she will use as security on her forest from a term starting in August. I explained to her that this debt will need to be paid out of the 10 thousand, and that I shall give her credit, which is to be gradually repaid.
