Толичка! Хорош я! Только в вагоне я вспомнил, что уехал не поблагодарив тебя и Паню за то, что три месяца наслаждался жизнью под вашим крылышком. Итак, благодарю, благодарю, благодарю! Ехал благополучно и очень приятно, но как водится, грустил о том, что с вами расстался, и вообще о подушкинской жизни. Ночью перед Курском проснулся, зашёл в общее отделение и, к удивлению, нашёл там Лелю, Сашу Жедр[инского] и Жоржа Карцева. Проболтал с ними до Льгова, куда они ехали, дабы гостить у Марьи Александр[овны]. В Киеве по случаю выставки всё переполнено, насилу достал номер в | Толичка! Хорош я! So, thank you, thank you, thank you! I've been travelling safely and very pleasantly, but as usual, I was sad to part ways with you and life at [[Podushkino]] in general. The night before Kursk I awoke, went into the general compartment, and, to my astonishment, found [[Aleksey Apukhtin|Lyolya]], Sasha Zhedrinsky and Georges Kartsov there. I chatted with them as far as Lgov, where they were going to visit Marya Aleksandrovna. In [[Kiev]], everywhere was packed because of the exhibition, and I barely found a room in the Grand Hotel. I've spent a pleasant evening at the "Châteaux de fleurs". Now I'm going to mass at the Brotherhood Monastery.
