Vevey is a town in the French-speaking canton of Vaud, Switzerland.
Tchaikovsky in Vevey
Tchaikovsky visited the town from 11/23 to 15/27 July 1873, during his summer vacation. "Vevey is in a truly superb setting, although those unaccustomed to it might be somewhat terrified by those towering, intimidating colossi" [1].
